England

This group is based on the Wirral peninsula in north west England.
...we all call this small peninsula ‘Home’ - rich and dense with significant history and many contrasts.  We climb a sandstone hill; the map of Wirral is spread around us – field patterns, woodland, houses and industry, roads and ancient pathways. Wales and Liverpool are both in view. Wealth and deprivation are often side by side.
Overall, great expanses of sea and sky coloured with constantly shifting weather, tides and light. Birds leave their feathers and their characteristic cries. Offshore wind-farms catch the sun. The power of nature is strong here.
The ever-changing coastline curves around past shipbuilding, yachts and the Mersey Ferry to seaside rock, from small towns to salt marshes and ice creams.
